OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Country Arts WA is Western Australia's peak regional arts organisation, supporting the artistic and cultural self-expression of regional communities.

We are seeking a part-time (22.5hrs/wk) Operations Coordinator to join our team.

The role of the Operations Coordinator is to ensure the smooth functioning of the organisation predominantly through the financial and operational support to the General Manager.

The successful applicant will have at least three years management experience. They will demonstrate strong project management and budgetary control skills and have the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively at a senior level. Proven ability to utilise clear strategic thinking and secure Government and non-Government funding will also be important in meeting the demands of this challenging and high-pressure work environment.

Experience in the arts or related field will be highly regarded. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are encouraged to apply.

Country Arts WA is based at the Kings Street Arts Centre (Perth) where a dedicated team deliver a dynamic and responsive arts program to all regions of the state, as well as being involved in national arts initiatives.
