For Communities
Funding > Community Arts Project Scheme (CAPS)
After a thorough evaluation of our funding programs and a rigorous strategic planning process Country Arts WA's Board of Management has made the decision to discontinue the Community Arts Project Scheme (CAPS) funding program.
Decisions to reallocate funding programs are never taken lightly, but the Board firmly believes the revised funding options available to Regional communities are more in keeping with a sustainable and responsive Business Plan in place for the next three years.
As always, Country Arts WA's Regional Arts Development team is available to assist you with advice and support for your regional arts project and can suggest alternative funding programs to suits your needs.
One program of interest may be our Regional Arts Fund Projects and Residencies program where communities can partner with professional artists, arts workers and cultural leaders to create high quality arts projects, create activities that develop cultural networks, capacity for long term benefits and increase professional development. Applications to the Projects and Residencies program close on 12 March 2010, for projects beginning after 1 July 2010, and 13 August for projects beginning after 1 January 2011.
