Nominate for the Country Arts WA Board of Directors

Members will have received their nomination information packs in the mail in the last week. If you haven't received yours please contact Gemma Robins via email or on 08 9200 5862.

Nominating for a position on the Country Arts WA board is a way of ensuring that needs of your community and your region are represented on the governing body of Western Australia's peak regional arts organisation.

Team News 2012

This year Country Arts WA will continue to support art and culture in the regional, rural and remote communities of Western Australia through our extensive touring programs and regional arts development funding initiatives.

2012 brings some changes around the office. Jessica Machin returns as CEO from maternity leave and Paul MacPhail will return to the General Manager's position. Nerida Glanfield has left the role of Acting General Manger to focus on teaching after a very busy 2011.

Joining us to support our mission is Dolores Kinsman in the new CircuitWest Audience Development role and Cathcart Weatherly as Operations Coordinator. Cathcart will focus on a number of specific projects including business planning and developments in our focus region, the Gascoyne.

There are also six exciting vacancies coming up in April on the Country Arts WA Board of Directors. Members will receive nomination forms in the mail by this Monday, 23 January 2012, which is a good opportunity to check your membership status and sign up if you haven't already! Fully paid members are eligible to nominate either themselves or someone from their organisation. Nominations close on the Tuesday, 14 February 2012.
