Tips > Acquitting Your Money

This doesn’t have to be boring!! If you keep your acquittal in mind from the start then it will be easier at the end.

  • Throughout the project, collect photos, people’s thoughts, new ideas, the promotional material that you made and keep it in a safe place.
  • After the project, bring the whole group back together to sit down and have a yarn about the best parts and the hardest parts.
  • Look over your original application and work out whether you reached your original goals. If not, why not?
  • Compare your final budget with the one you originally put together. Return any unspent funds if you need to.
  • Get your acquittal in on time as this may make it hard for you to get money through that funding body next time.
  • Keep a copy.
  • Call the funding officer for help.
