Contemporary Music Touring Program

The LOUDER Contemporary Music Program provides funding to support organisations to extend their existing original contemporary music program to other regions in Western Australia.

LOUDER aims to support live original contemporary music by:

• Developing regional audiences
• Developing regional musicians in writing and performing
• Developing an effective regional WA touring circuit
• Ensuring regional people have access to live performances of a diverse range of professional music
• Encouraging and supporting contemporary music organisations in coordinating regional activity

Applicants can apply for up to $17,500 to cover the cost of professional fees, travel, accommodation, marketing and administration.

  • Are you a WA organisation?
  • Do you have an existing contemporary music program?
  • Are you developing contemporary music in regional WA?
  • Priority will be given to organisations based in regional WA.

Previous recipients of LOUDER funding include Desert Feet, WA Music Industry Association (WAM), Tetrafide Percussion, JazzWA, Nova Ensemble, KULCHA and Fairbridge Music Program.

The LOUDER program is supported by the State Government through the Department of Culture and the Arts in association with Lotterywest.
