View PostCountry Arts WA staff were fortunate last week to be immersed in the Artful Leadership for Community Building program. We were joined by some of our Board and invited regional guests to take part in a fantastic program helping us all to consider how we can all grow personally to become better leaders in life and work. The workshop was lead by Kim Lisson from Karrak Consulting and our own Barb Howard, both of whom will run this same program in the second half of the year for a cohort of regional participants associated with our Regional Art Hubs. Using a seamless blend of games, activities, readings, group discussions and smaller conversations, it was evident by the final reflection session how much everyone had valued their participation and were looking forward to taking the skills and insights weβd gathered into our lives and learning more through our declared personal projects. This was the first session of a three part program and the promise of more learning has been matched by the commitment of all who took part β we canβt wait for April! - Paul MacPhail, Executive Director of Country Arts WA
