Regional Arts Legacy Grants
Regional artists and arts organisations around Western Australia have one last chance to apply for funding support from the State Government’s Creative Regions initiative through the Regional Arts Legacy Grants (RALG) program.
RALG enables regional communities or individuals to secure funding to stimulate and support arts activity in all art forms. Arts projects and initiatives big and small from around the regions are encouraged.
The intent of this fund is to be open and non-specific, and can fund smaller projects or bold visions for one or two years.
Funding can cover the cost of operations, artist fees, accommodation, travel, materials, administration, strategy, publicity, documentation and any other costs associated with the project. It will not cover the costs of assets, infrastructure or performing arts touring.
Projects that remove barriers to allow the individual or organisation to move to the next level in their practice are encouraged. The total budget pool available is ~$1,000,000, with an allocation of this funding already made in the 2016 round.
