The National Touring Program offers Western Australian producers the opportunity to tour their productions interstate to establish and build a national profile.
Country Arts WA is a member of the Regional and Remote Touring Advisory Group (RRTAG). Established by the Board of Regional Arts Australia, the RRTAG assists and advises the Board on matters relating to Country Arts WA’s role as a national advocate for performing arts touring in regional and remote Australia.
The RRTAG contributes to the development of the National Touring Selector, an online networking tool for the performing arts touring industry – with particular emphasis on regional and remote venues and producers of tour-ready shows. The site brings together creators and producers from across Australia and helps generate tours and performing arts seasons.
Country Arts WA continues to represent the interests of regional Western Australian producers through involvement in the Performing Arts Touring Alliance (PATA). PATA is Australia’s peak body for the performing arts touring sector. It is a cohesive and objective voice for government and key stakeholders, providing quality and informed strategic advice and policy.
