Country Arts WA Community Presenter Guide

If you are interested in presenting performing arts shows in your community, this guide is for you! Whether it is a local community performance or event or a touring company visiting with their show, this information will be helpful. It covers the process from choosing and marketing a show to evaluating its success and improving processes for future events.

We would like to thank everyone whose hard work appears in the pages of this guide, in the form of advice or links to their sites. Presenting, like the performing arts, is an ensemble artform and we greatly appreciate everyone’s contributions to this dynamic and important industry.

Some presenter advice from Cait Stewart and David Marshall was also recorded in a series of short video interviews, which you can watch here.

AudienceConnect Resource

In May 2015, Country Arts WA and CircuitWest launched a new online resource intended to benefit regional venues, presenters, and producers, to better connect with their audiences.

AudienceConnect is a result of the three year CircuitWest Audience Development Project managed by Country Arts WA and funded by Lotterywest.
